Many
viewers have contacted us since the election asking what
they can do to help make sure all of the ballots get counted,
what can be done about all of the voter intimidation and
other election frauds committed by BushCo operatives,
and what can be done to make sure electronic voting machines
counted the votes correctly so that Bush didn't steal
another election. There is no doubt our election process
is a mess and needs fixing and even if we can't remove
Bush from office now, we must continue to work to fix
these numerous problems before the next election in 2006.
In
communicating with Congressman and Senators: Letters
in your own words are most influential even though mail
delivery is very slow due to added security because of
the anthrax threats. It's recommended that people back
up their letters with personal (not form) emails, phone
calls, and faxes. Form emails and petitions are least
effective.

the most recent information on investigations and reports
being made about election fraud, please visit VotesMustCount.com.
Below we compiled the best information you will need to
participate in improving the election process. Please
feel free to contact us
if you have other information that should be added to
our list.
Here
are things you can do now:
- Send
financial donations to: www.blackboxvoting.org,
Bev Harris' site. She is doing a world of good with
her tenacious and brave work. This site is primarily
concerned with making sure e-voting machines correctly
tabulated the vote. She sent out Freedom of Information
Act (FOIA) requests to every county in the country,
and that type of effort requires funds. Also they need
help documenting incidences of voter fraud and problems
during the election. You can keep updated on what this
group is finding by visiting their website.
- Visit
VotesMustCount.com
to find up-to-date information on everything having
to do with voter problems and irregularities being reported
in this election. This site is terrific for getting
the information you want.
- USVIP
[US Voting Integrity Project] posted a message to the
MoveOn message board to encourage people to join a COMPLETE
THE VOTE! campaign, the next logical step in MoveOn's
"Get Out The Vote" campaign earlier this year. We are
hoping that people can go to the MoveOn message
board, rate their post with 5 stars "Election Reform
Step 1: Every Vote Counts - Complete the Vote!", and
then scroll down and SUBMIT your rating. You will need
to become registered with the MoveOn Action Forum.
- Send
donations to www.eff.org.
The Electronic Frontier Foundation has been instrumental
in all litigation across the country relating to e-voting
(electronic voting).
- Send
donations to www.verifiedvoting.org
and www.votersunite.org
and www.ballotintegrity.org.
These organizations have done a lion's share of getting
the word out about what is wrong in this country's electoral
process. Also support People
for the American Way, who are working to investigate
this election.
- Write
to John Conyers (D - Mich), Ranking Member of the House
Judiciary Committee on the Constitution, who has requested
a Congressional Hearing on the 2004 if you have specific
incidents or evidence to report. Contact Information
for John Conyers: Washington DC E-Mail Address: john.conyers@mail.house.gov,
Washington DC Web Address: http://www.house.gov/conyers/,
Washington DC Web Mail Address: http://www.house.gov/conyers/letstalk.htm,

Washington DC Address 2426 Rayburn House Office Building
Washington, DC 20515-2214, Phone: 202-225-5126, Fax:
202-225-0072. You can also download
the letter written to the GAO by several congressmen
asking for an investigation of this election with several
major complaints specified. You can also download
to read now the letter written to Ohio Secretary
of State Kenneth Blackwell from members of Congress
asking him to explain the voter irregularities/problems
documented in Ohio. Please limit all emails to the
House Judiciary Committe to reporting specific incidents
or evidence that will aid them in their investigation.
- CASE
Ohio has been organizing public hearings regarding this
year's election in cities in Ohio. If you or someone
you know still has testimony to give, please submit
it in writing to the Columbus Institute for Contemporary
Journalism. Please include your full contact information
(name, phone, address, email) and make your testimony
as direct and specific as possible with dates, names,
times, locations and statements of fact, rather than
opinion or commentary. Send your testimony either via
email (truth@freepress.org
with WRITTEN TESTIMONY in the title) or snail mail:

. Please donate
money to The League of Pissed Off Voters in Ohio
that is working hard to hold hearings to have recounts.
Also in Ohio needing help is the Columbus
League of Pissed Off Voters. If this group stays
together now that Bush has been elected, they may need
help with other projects to ensure that problems can
be prevented in future elections and in making sure
Blackwell is not re-elected to any public office.
- Use
the National
Assoc. of Secretaries of State website to track
any provisional ballots to make sure yours was counted
or to register a complaint. This is especially important
to anyone who used a provisional ballot in OH to vote.
- Use
the Election
Assistance Commission web site to find links to
individual states where voters can file complaints.
- Use
the Justvote
web site to find numbers for state election boards.
- Use
the moritzlaw
website to find your state's election laws.
- Pass
the link to this page to others to get them involved
in this effort.

- Share
any of your great ideas regarding election activities
on TrueMajority's
"IdeaSwap" discussion board. They've set this up
for you to let them (and each other) know what you think
they should be doing together in the coming year.
- Urge
your Senators to: Please
co-sponsor Senator Ensign's 'Voting Integrity and Verification
Act,' # SB 2437. Urge your Representative to:
Please co-sponsor Rep. Holt's 'Voter Confidence and
Increased Accessibility Act,' # HR 2239. Call them now!
Both of these bills will require e-voting machines to
have verifiable paper ballots.
